Our History

JGW Group was founded by John G. Wilson (Tug) 32 years ago on the premise that companies large and small, domestic and international could benefit from JGW Group’s business development and marketing expertise in high technology aerospace and defense markets. 

Starting with three clients in 1979 the JGW Group has represented some of the leading technology companies in the world and currently supports over 18 firms in a wide variety of technologies and capabilities. 

Tug’s vision for the company was to make it an integrated part of the businesses it supported so that JGW Group was part of the fabric of its clients.  This formula has continued to provide both its clients and the ultimate customers with products and technologies that have been integrated into both Defense and Aerospace applications. 

JGW Group is Tug’s legacy, and the company continues to follow the successful formula he started the company with in 1979. 

Tug Wilson passed away on March 4th, 2011 at the age of 94.
